My name is Mumba Quinta Mwanza, I am student at Nottingham Trent International pursuing a Foundation Certificate in Business, Law and Social Sciences. I originally attended a range of innovative Human Resource HR Management Training Courses for me to have an exciting career in Human Resources Management. The demise of my relative, as a result of poor healthcare in Lusaka, Zambia, prompted my desire to switch to a healthcare career. I believe that for there to be quality care in my home town in Lusaka, there must be a combination of skilled professionals at the right place, helping with several things ranging from treating ill health to improving patient well-being and prioritising non-clinical needs. As part of the transition process, I have completed the 15 Standard care certificate courses and Level 3 Diploma in health and Social Care courses. Having done all these, I still desire to acquire a UK Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Social Care at Nottingham Trent University, which would demonstrate that I have the specialised knowledge and technical skills employers would need and that can be transferred to the workplace with minimal on-the-job training.
